Thor's Hammer Pendant

A tiny Mjolnir, or Thor's Hammer, the weapon of the God of Lightning and Thunder of the Germanic tradition. It was carved in blackthorn wood, and then painted with enamel colored wrought iron. It's long only 3 cm for a width of 2.5 cm ; it is 9 mm thick and weighs only 4 grams!

Un piccolissimo Mjolnir, o Martello di Thor, l'arma del Dio del Lampo e del Tuono della tradizione germanica. E' stato intagliato nel legno di pruno, e successivamente verniciato con smalto color ferro battuto. E' lungo solo 3 cm per una larghezza di 2,5 cm; è spesso 9 mm e pesa solo 4 grammi.
